Classic Grind Wedges

When you think about buying clubs people generally think of drivers first then perhaps irons and so on. Wedges though seem to be the last type of club people think about, which is strange because the short game can be one of the most important parts of your round. Having the right wedge can make or break your round especially when around the edge of the green. Players like Phil Mickleson place huge value on wedges and their short game and often winning or losing comes down to having the right wedge for the right shot.

The Classic Grind Wedges come in a number of different lofts and bounces. The benefit of this is that wedges with little bounce are best for approach shots from short grass and tight lies, so your able to get under the ball with ease. The SW has a higher degree of bounce and so it makes its easier for the club to slide through the sand and contact the ball.

Remember to buy the wedge thats best suited to you and your game. Many players find it best to have a variety of wedges in their bag so they can always play those importants shots with confidence.
