Acer XK Iron's explained.
There are 4 type's of Acer XK Iron's. The XK Pro, XK Regular, XK High Trajectory and XK Ti-Ceptional. All are designed with a different golfer in mind and all of us will fit into one of the categories but which one.
Let's take the XK Pro first of all. This Iron is intended for the better more accomplished golfer. It has less offset, thinner top lines and narrower sole's then the other XK Iron's, which is what better golfer's tend to look for in their Iron's. They are also less forgiving then the other XK Iron's but this will enable the better golfer to work the ball more whether fade or draw but it still has just enough forgiveness if you don't swing quiet right.
How about the XK Regular Iron's. These Iron's are still narrow soled but have more forgiveness then the Pro Iron's helping golfer's hit the ball straighter even when there swing isn't perfect. The XK Regular Iron's would benefit anyone who doesn't have too much trouble getting the ball in the air but suffer's with not hitting the ball straight. You will lose a bit of workability due to the extra forgiveness of these Iron's
XK High Trajectory Iron's. These are the most forgiving Iron's anywhere. How can we say that? A 30% wider sole than the standard Acer XK model coupled with additional loft and lower, deeper center of gravity enables the player to get the ball up in the air quickly from virtually any lie and hold the greens. The expansive undercut channel and generous hitting surface makes this one of the most forgiving irons available anywhere. They are designed for anyone who has a slow swing speed, beginners or mid to high handicappers looking to improve there Iron play.
Our newest member of the XK family is the XK Ti-Ceptional. The Ti stands for Titanium. The stainless steel face was replaced with a thin sheet of lightweight titanium to experience the same benefits of a modern titanium driver wrapped up into an iron. Titanium was selected for two reasons. First it provides a responsive striking zone to increase ball speed and distance. Secondly it allows for an extraordinary source of weight saving that be can used to create unparalleled forgiveness for laser-like accuracy. Suitable for any type of golfer.
The XK line of Iron's are available from £23.95 each Iron including customisation and head cover's to keep them looking good.
